There’s so much to learn (and many ideas to steal!) from Melissa and Drew’s gorgeous Ballard Bay Club wedding and reception. This couple used soft beige hues and peach, allowing the couple, bridal party, and the venue to pop!
From the hand stamped “Mr.” and “Mrs.” silverware, the vintage gold urn filled with pink, white and peach flowers, to the personalized popcorn gifts thanking guests for “popping by,” we just love all of the details that went into this wedding! The night ended with a gorgeous sunset over the water – the perfect ending to an unforgettable event.

The Attire
While we have seen so many beautiful wedding dresses this season (remember Kara’s gorgeous lace gown?) – this one has to be one of our favorites! The sheer neckline, lace bodice, and flowy bottom made this dress truly unique. This bride also knew how to do the mismatched bridesmaid dress trend right! Each bridesmaid’s dress was the same color of beige with a different silhouette or fabric, and they were all dressed up with teal and peach statement jewelry. The groomsmen wore simple black suits, jazzed up with a peach tie and pocket square.
The Ceremony
The Ballard Bay Club’s view is unbeatable; with unobstructed views of the Puget Sound, Olympic Mountains and Magnolia’s Discovery Park Lighthouse, it truly is a magical venue. Their ceremony took place on the south patio, with the bridal party in front of the palm trees, overlooking the water.
The Food & Drink
The bride and groom’s signature drink was a classic margarita, delicious! During cocktail hour, the guests were greeted with appetizers including Bacon Wrapped Dates, Coconut Chicken Skewers, and Ahi Tuna. Dinner was served buffet style, with options like the Jewel Classic Caesar Salad, Maple Grilled Salmon, and Fresh Summer Vegetable Ratatouille. The simple white wedding cake was decorated with the same stunning flowers that made up the bridal bouquet, and topped off with a gold “Mr. & Mrs.” wire cake topper!
The Décor & Details
Peach, gold, pink and teal were used in all aspects of the wedding, from the ceremony chairs to the chalkboard signs. This wedding was filled with flowers galore! Being the main detail of the night, flowers were incorporated into almost every aspect of the décor. Each guest table was decorated with white votive candles provided by Jewel Hospitality, along with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers in the middle. Glittery gold and teal table numbers were placed on easels, completing the festive look of the table.
Our favorite detail of the night was the customized Seahawks jerseys they received as a wedding gift, how cute is that?
The Reception
The couple and their guests danced the night away in the Ballard Bay Club’s north room. When the night ended in a beautiful orange and pink sunset, the bride and groom took advantage of the moment and got some romantic photos!
