One of our amazing and talented bakers, Robyn, was experimenting with some new fall dessert ideas for our weddings and corporate events. We caught up with her while she was making Grand Marnier Orange Cream Tartlets.
Robyn gathered her materials, then she mixed butter, sugar, eggs, egg yolks, orange juice, orange zest, and grand marnier over heat in a double boiler.
After she let the curd cool and set she was ready to put the tartlets together!
Step 1: line up your mini tart shells
Step 2: Fill the empty tart shells with your cooled curd.
Step 3: Top it with whipped cream
Step 4: Brulee!
Step 5: Top it with an adorable white chocolate flower!
Step 6: Bring the treats to the office for the Jewel staff to enjoy :)
Thanks for letting us follow along in the kitchen, Robyn! We loved the the tartlets and we know our clients will too!
